Mindfulness and Breath Work

Our Mindfulness and Breath Work programs are designed to help you discover evidence-based, effective, simple strategies that will suit you and your lifestyle.

Combining the more traditional practices with the neuroscience that supports meditation, mindfulness and breath work, Bron is known for her down-to-earth, practical, accepting manner, and her ability to encourage and help her participants discover and develop effective practices that work for them.

First trained in 1978, in what was then called Conscious Awareness, Bron has spent over 40 years exploring and teaching Eastern, Western, Spiritual and Academic approaches to mindfulness and meditation.

Both Mindfulness and Breath Work are offered as individual or combined programs, as single sessions, and as ongoing programs.  One client, who initially booked a 6 week on-line program during the lockdowns in 2020 is now into it's 5th year of weekly programs, and another, who also booked us for just 6 weeks is into its 3rd year.

We could talk about them but let's hear what those who've experienced the program have to say...

Is it OK that I keep coming?  It's such a good program.  No more road rage, no more frustration when things don't go my way, and I see the world in a much more curious and accepting way.  I just want to keep learning.  Mary - community participant (and also primary school headmaster).

I've never believed in breath work, we breath, we work, we're born to breath, but you just never know what you don't know.  Thank you for sharing your simple and wonderful techniques with the staff today.  I know everyone got something out of your time with us.  Maria Toomey - Staff Wellbeing - Melbourne based creative support organisation.

I have to admit, I left the class thinking 'how can something so simple actually work?' But here I am just 10 days later - my one minute of mindful breath work has expanded to 6 minutes of silence in my overactive brain.  The techniques you taugh really are 'no brainers', in the best possible way! Plus I loved the way your techniques were so flexible.  How many mindfulness teachers will say "If that doesn't work for you, try it this way."  Usually it's "just keep at it, meditation can take months to master!" but with you, it takes just minutes.  Thank you a thousand times.' - Barry Reichardt - community participant, community workshop, Melbourne

Shhh, I'm meditating. If you told me this morning I'd be saying that I would have laughed at you! How can meditation be so simple? But it really is. You are a true meditation guru!' - Samantha Waters, Education Department NSW

I was delighted to see that people who attended last years session chose to join you again.  A few said how they'd hoped you'd be here.'  - Suzanne Halliday. In house corporate conference organiser.  The Let's Laugh Mindfulness program has now been included in the 2011, 2012 and 2014, 2016 and 2018 and via zoom in the 2020 and 2021 conference programs and back in person in 2023.

'Brilliant, that's it.  My mind is too calm to think, thank you.' - Andrew R.  HR worker, community meditation and sound healing session, St Albans.

'You are brilliant.  I've always hated meditation because I keep trying but I get so distracted, I could never do it before.  Your ideas work so well that I'm going to try and make it a daily ritual.' - Barry P. - Volunteer palliative carer, Melbourne.

'The group loved you, you got 100% positive feedback.  Is it too early to book you for a number of break out groups at our volunteers day next August?  We'd hate to miss out on having you back.' - Emma C. - event organiser, Melbourne - 2019, on-line in 2020 and back in person in 2021 and 2022.

I was so pleased when I found you again.  I'm still practicing and now teaching your exercises, they've had such a positive impact - Simon K, IT programer.  Simon first experience the program when he was a year 11 student at a high school in Wantirna in 2012.

'Is the hour done already? Can I just stay here and practice some more?' - Katrina, Karingal Council - Sydney.

'I usually don't have a lot of time for this woo-woo type of stuff but there was no woo-woo.  It was so calming, so relaxing, you explained everything so beautifully and made it all seem so simple.'- Darren, HR manager - Melbourne

Where do I buy a singing bowl?  That sound is beautiful, and can you come to my kids school and teach them?  Shamini, community volunteer, City of Whittelsea.
